Free computer to a paralized iraq veteran

So, we were trying to sell our old desktop computer on craigslist, expecting we'd make about 30-40 bucks for it, seeing as laptops are the big sellers now....... I got an email inquring about the sale 20 mins after I posted it, suspicious I thought well ok i'll give this guy an answer..... the conversation went like this........

Guy: would u donate pc...... my brother is returning from iraq and is parylized would like to get sumthing for him

Me: Absolutely, My husband is an Iraq veteran too. you can come get it asap.

do you mind me asking what happened to your brother?

Guy:He was shot...........he also saved the pows when war first started.......Ive met my brother 1 time before he went to war and cant wait to get to know him even more

Me: wow, I'm so proud of our troops!

Guy:
if i can come get as soon as possible be great and appreciated and i thank u from the bottom of my herart for this......

Me: heres my number call me when your on you way.

10 mins later he showed up, and told us the whole story, I was still kind of skeptical about it, but if his was telling the truth and not just trying to get a free computer...... It was a really kind gesture for his brother who he barely knows, and we feel that bitter sweet feeling of helping a fellow troop.

He's been working really hard to sit and stand up right *with a little help* so we decided today was the day for him to start playing in the car his aunt Dianna and Uncle Steve bought him. take a look!

Random thoughts of the day.....

Our new car get 300 miles to the tank..... its a little less that 3000 mi. to texas.....and we only have to pay 38 bucks to fill'r up.... sooooo its going to cost us 380 on gasoline or there round abouts. Can't wait to get home and see my family ... It's been a whole year since i've been gone.

NEW CAR!!!

Bill bought us a PT Cruiser! I've wanted one since they came out! Thank you Sharon and Colleen for giving that extra nudge!
Now we are bickering over who gets to drive it! lol
